REVIEW: Hilton Garden Inn - London Heathrow

The Hilton Garden Inn in Heathrow is a mid range hotel within a short bus ride of all terminals and a short walk from the nearest tube station, Hatton Cross.

The car park was about 50% full and at £12 per day, is fairly pricey but surprisingly not the highest around Heathrow. It’s well lit and only 100 yards from the hotel front door.

For the aviation geeks amongst us, most of the rooms have views of one of Heathrow’s runways. The visible one being the one that planes land on in the morning so it’s nice to watch when the weather’s good.

£15.95 for a burger and fries felt like it’s on the higher end of prices outside of the hotel world but compared to other local hotels it seems to be fairly typical. For us, burger and fries is a good point of comparison between hotels!

If you have an Android device you’ll be able to share your phone screen with the in-room TV. Sad news for iOS users though - it won’t work….yet.
